The Key Differences Between Register Rolls

Register rolls are designed to keep track of business’ orders and can also be used to generate receipts for customers. Our selection of bond, carbonless, and thermal register rolls are a must-have for any business. Keep reading to find out which one is right for your location.

Bond register rolls are great for locations that only need one copy of receipts. They can be used with P.O.S. (point of sale) systems, fuel pumps, hotels, casinos, and restaurant locations.

Carbonless rolls have a white and canary or white and pink copy of the receipt. One copy can be given to the customer and one copy can be kept by the business for their own records. When the first copy of the receipt is printed, the pressure causes the information to be transferred to the second copy. These register rolls can be used with P.O.S. systems, cafes, showrooms, retail outlets, fuel stations, and grocery stores.

Thermal rolls are constructed with a black image when used with a thermal printer and do not need printer cartridges or ribbons to create an image. They can be used with P.O.S. machines and systems, cash and debit machines, ATM’s, cash registers, showrooms, fuel stations, and retail locations.
